Joe Lawless -- Executive Director, Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility, Milgard School of Business

Joe Lawless is the Executive Director of the Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility, Milgard School of Business for the University of Washington. The Center’s mission is to develop socially responsible leaders who build sustainable organizations and communities. As the Executive Director, Joe leads the Center’s activities geared toward education, scholarship and community engagement.
Joe has also worked for: Ackerley Communications in communication sales, Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation as the Executive Director and Tacoma Goodwill Industries as the Director of Corporate Partnerships. During his time as Executive Director for Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation he developed the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour, built a model Children’s Advocacy Center, and lead The Campaign for Mary Bridge, a $15.5 million effort to build a new outpatient facility and an endowment fund for patient charity care. He has his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington Tacoma.

Peggy Willett -- Director of Industry and Community Support

Peggy leads the company’s giving and social responsibility strategy and programs to express Getty Images’ belief that imagery is a catalyst to understanding with the power to change the world. This belief shapes the way Getty Images connects its people and products with organizations that represent and influence the company's customers and contributors.
Willett has been with Getty Images Corporate Communications team since 2000. She is member of Philanthropy Northwest and is a past president of the board of directors of Youth In Focus, a Seattle-based non-profit which empowers urban teens through photography.
Before joining Getty Images, Willett worked in the business operations side of magazine publishing in Philadelphia and earlier, served for a decade as executive director of a professional trade group in Dallas, TX. She is a graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, Ohio who built additional professional skills with select courses through the American Society of Association Executives and the Boston Center for Corporate Citizenship.
Dan Bross -- Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship

Dan Bross, Microsoft’s worldwide Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship, has been a leader in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors for over twenty-five years. With a background in political science, government affairs and public policy, Dan has lead government affairs teams at both the federal and state level for two Fortune 100 companies. His broad corporate experience includes strategic policy development and advocacy; grassroots program development and management; and community affairs program management.
Since joining Microsoft in 1998, Dan has held a number of senior positions including director of State Government Affairs, director of Business Affairs and Policy Communication, and director of Community Outreach.
Dan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina (where he serves on the Board of Trustees), and a master’s degree in Public Administration from George Washington University in D.C.
Christina Hemmen -- Seattle HR Location Leader
Deloitte
As a member of the Seattle Deloitte leadership team Christina focuses on building culture and executing on Deloitte’s talent strategies. She advises partners and directors on talent initiatives; is involved in diversity outreach; Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative and is an active HR representative in the community. Christina’s expertise is in talent management and how community involvement programs play a key role in corporate recruitment, retention and ongoing talent development.
Christina comes to Deloitte from Premera Blue Cross where she was the senior human resource business partner working with key functions and C-level professionals. Christina has also worked with Washington Mutual Bank in the areas of talent recruitment and organizational capability. Christina is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications.
